Front desk should be able to view and print Accounting report "Hotel Journal Summary" without asigning authorization to "Managers Report" which includs all finacial report that FDA does not need. We use "Hotel Journal Summary" as a part of check off list to make sure credit cards are all balanced for the day. Currently FDA is able to view and print "Hotel Journal Detail" and "Shift Reconciliation" so why not "Hotel Journal Summary" be included.
NIGHT AUDIT REPORTS: AS THE AUDITOR, WHENEVER ALL NIGHT AUDIT REPORTS ARE PRINTED. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE ADDITIONAL REPORTS SUCH AS (1) ACCOUNT BALANCE REPORT. (2) FINAL TRANSACTION CLOSEOUT, (3) LEDGER ACTIVITY REPORT. (4) GUEST LEDGER. (5) VACANT ROOM LIST. INCLUDING ALL CURRENT REPORTS. ALL THESE REPORTS ARE TO BE INCLUDED IN THE AUDIT PACKAGE. CURRENTLY WE ARE PRINTING REPORTS ONE AT A TIME.
