Ability to move a guest into a different room on day of departure. For example, if a roof leak develops at 4am, the guest will need to be moved to a different room prior to checking out. Currently, users can't change room numbers after night audit on day of departure.
In my opinion this will be useless to add, I think it'll take more time and effort than the good results we can get with this change, I think we need to focus in try to avoid as many complaints as we can.
I would love this. As it is now, when we need to move someone after audit, we extend the room for another day, move the room, and leave notes for housekeeping that the room is a check-out that day, and for the morning staff to ensure the room is checked out. Pain in the butt yes, but necessary so we know where the guest is.
This should not be an additon or a feature. This is a deficiency (bug) in the app. If your PMS is tied to the KeyCard issueing machine, there is no way to move a guest after Night-Audit.
