more than 9 rooms needed, then do it as a Group Booking.. I use group booking alot, it's great!! I will do a group booking with less than 9 rooms even.

there already are shortcut keys: Pressing F12 and A gets you to arrival screen, F12 and D takes you to departure screen, F12 and O takes you to already checked out screen .. etc.. Just press F12, you'll see :), however, I would like to see Quick stats page on the shortcut list, I use that page Alot!

You can't just look for a guest via last name. Either by telephone OR name, country AND postal code.. too much info is required. I mean really, how do we know their postal codes or phone numbers? The only other way is to look them up via find reservation and select checked out.

Just imagine the ink and paper saved if we could email folios as opposed to re-printing and mailing or faxing, or even going thru the hassel of scanning and then emailing.

I agree 100% !! Afterall, we are human and I myself have a made a mistake or two in my lifetime :P I agree the guest should be given a clean folio. Makes us look more professional too :)

If I am understanding you, you can do this now by going to the specific arrival day and printing the reg cards from within each folio, just like you would to for today's arrivals.

The CA that I use does include the company name on the folio providing the company profile is attached to the folio to begin with.

Can we not already do this? Go to Find Reservation and select by date. It lists ALL the reservations in the date range selected.

I think this would be a good idea if swiping the driver's license will auto fill the address fields. However, what happens in the event the guest does not want to provide their address? I have encountered this a few times where guest refuses to give their address, just tonight even. Also, what if the guest does not have a driver's license? This feature would be great providing it wont be MANDATORY for the check in process.

I agree. I get so frustrated at the number of times I have to log in on a shift!! I personally do not think it is necessary for the system to log us out anyways.

I have discovered the best way to avoid this from happening is by using the RATE PLAN and not just changing the rate and leaving the RATE PLAN at RAC. If you leave the RATE PLAN at RAC and manually change your rate then it will auto change back to RAC when changes are made. If you select S3A for example, then whatever changes you make, the rate will always be S3A. However this is not always possible as maybe the guest is getting a special rate that is not one of the RATE PLANS, so thats when I agree with the enhanced function.
