HAVE TO AGREE WITH THIS ONE. I UNDO CHECKIN SOMETIMES JUST SO I CAN ADD COMMENTS TO A CHECKOUT FOLIO, SO IF THEY STAY AGAIN IT IS EASY TO PULL UP A PAST RESERVATION FOR THAT GUEST AND SEE PREFERENCES AND COMMENTS ABOUT PARTICULAR GUEST

I can't stand the pdf adobe that opens. It takes just a little longer than wanted sometimes. It's kind of quirky at times too. Need to speed up departure time. Have to usually wait for final cc auth to go through and post payment. then wait for adobe to switch into gear, then click print and wait a little time for the print screen to open to actuall be able to print and wait for it to print. Just a little to much waiting for my liking

I worked with a system called IDPMS that had email built into the system for each user. We used it to send messages about that day reservations for every employee that would be around. Every time we logged in to the system a message came up prompting you to go to your email. It was a really nice system that allowed us to communicate instantly

I have to retract my last statment. I do use the same report sometimes and can print and then just change the date to print my next report. What would help would be to just hit back and be able to go back to reports rather than having to go to report tab. When I right click and hit back it goes to webpage has expired page.

I completely understand this problem and agree. We have a safe charge function and I do not charge this to any direct bill account (automatically). But when I have a repeat DB account guest and want to make multiple reservations for this guest, I have to go back into every reservation made for this guest to delete safe charge. I wish when duplicate reservation I could check a tab asking if I would like to keep all current information of past guest

Have to agree here. What are the chances that I will want to print the report I just ask to print.

I would prefer an option button to disable autopayment if wanted. 85% of time like autopayment, but have cases where autopayment isn't an option. no disable function makes the 15% of cases very difficult.

I've run into this problem with other operating systems as well. It would be nice for ChoiceAdvantage to be able to recognize the current rate and apply discount to that instead of the day's current rate. The way I got around this problem was to tape a rate cheat sheet @ the front desk. It had maybe the top 6 rates the hotel offered and broke them down with typical discounts and rates with taxes. We used it primarily to get the rates with taxes quickly(but choice has the view est. cost tab-really nice). but I can see this maybe helping for your case here or atleast speed up your process.

I completely agree with this problem. I would prefer the system to automatically assume that I want to keep the rate the same and just do a popup letting user know there should be a rate change for this system change, would you like to apply the rate change, yes or no! that would be ideal agree?

Two options here that I can think of for you. Either right click the screen with future availability screen pulled up. should be a print option or print the occupance snapshot with emergency reports.

EXAMPLE: WHEN A WRONG RATE IS POSTED TO A CORP (DIRECT BILL) ACCOUNT I NEED TO GO BACK INTO INDIVIDUAL RESERVATION TO CHANGE RATE BEFORE SENDING OUT BILLS TO THE COMPANY. I HAVE A FREQUENT GUEST WITH LAST NAME JOHNSON THAT I NEED TO ADJUST RATE BEFORE SENDING BILLS OUT TO HIS COMPANY. WHEN CHANGING RATE I NEED TO LOOK UP HIS PAST RES. TYPE JOHNSON AND GET THE FIRST JOHNSON WITH FIRST NAME BEGINNING WITH THE LETTER A. THE EASIEST WAY TO BE ABLE TO FIND THIS STAY OF HIS MANY STAYS (AND THE MANY JOHNSON RESERVATIONS) WOULD BE TO JUST CLICK TO VIEW BY DEPARTURE DATE AND HAVE THE MOST RECENT RESERVATION UNDER THE LAST NAME JOHNSON TO APPEAR. NOW I HAVE TO CLICK VIEW BY DEPARTURE TWICE IN ORDER TO SEE THE MOST RECENT. I CAN'T IMAGINE EVER NEEDING THE 1ST RESERVATION UNDER JOHNSON IN OUR SYSTEM

I prefer not having the exp date attach automatically with dup. res's. Just for security reasons it is good we have to ask for it. I know my repeat guests seem to quickly learn our ways and they just remember their exp date when the make their res
