When we recieve online reservastions, often times they do not include a guest's address or phone number. This adds to the amount of time they have to spend at check-in. Could we require online bookings to have this info?

Often times guests will wish to apply discounts (such as AAA and AARP) after they've made their reservation and often on their day of arrival. If our GM has lowered the cost of that room type since they've made a reservation *(because of low demand), the discount is applied on to the new room price, not the price the guest was quoted when they made a reservation. This glitch often times saves guests nearly 20% when it should only give them 10%, costing us a lot of money.

Change the system so that when deposits are entered they are not counted in our reconciliation reports, as this requires us to drop them and makes it so we no longer have the money to refund to the guests when they check out.

Allow us to have the option of accepting foreign cash by building in a currency converter/selector for cash under the "Post Payment" menu. In addition, allow us to set our own conversion rates/types of currency accepted to allow for the inclusion of bank conversion fees.

Denny, the problem is that our rack rate changes over time. Let's say a guest booked at a rack of 109, and when they arrived the rack had been adjusted to 99. If they said "I have AAA," The AAA rate would be off of the NEW rack, not the old one of 109. So instead of paying 98.10, they end up around 89, $20 less than they had booked and a 20% discount off their original rate.

This would help to clean up guests' folio and hide any mistakes we make.
